GROUP THERAPY
“Only through our connectedness to others can we really know and enhance the self. And only through working on the self can we begin to enhance our connectedness to others.”
-Harriet Lerner, Ph.D.

DBT for Binge Eating Disorder
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based treatment model that has been proven to be effective in treating eating disorders. In this weekly skills group, you will learn how to use DBT skills and commit to practicing them daily. The goal of this group is to help you reduce eating disorder behaviors by enhancing your ability to cope with intense thoughts, feelings, and urges in the moment. This group will require a 12-week commitment so we can explore all four modules of DBT in order to help you acquire new skills to regulate behaviors associated with food, strong emotions and body image issues.
