Recovering from an eating disorder, or other addiction, can feel exhausting.

Here are some simple, yet significant reminders:

Recovery is not linear!

Recovery is not a linear process. It's full of twists and turns for us to learn from! 🔎


Slips happen. Keep it moving!

Slips happen, and are a normal part of the recovery process. The key is to keep it moving so the slips don't keep you from your goals. ⏸️▶️


Reach out over isolating!

Isolating will only put you at higher risk for using eating disorder behaviors. Life is tough, especially in recovery. We all need people to support us along the way. 👥


It’s worth it. You’re worth it!

Recovery is worth it, and you are worth it. You deserve all the wonderful things a life recovered can bring. 🌟🌷


Be gentle with yourself

Be gentle with yourself. You’re doing a hard thing! Self compassion is a crucial component of recovery! 💛
